Kicking Up Dust returns to the Sound Table Saturday February 10th, 2018.

I have just returned with a few pounds of new 45’s ranging from classic rock, rare groves, funk, soul & hip hop. I am looking forward sharing all this good music I have with you and yours.

Kicking Up Dust has been running strong for seven years. We specialize in All Vinyl, 45RPM and no laptops are needed. I initiated this format due to the ever increasing amount of digital DJ programs that are on the market and the lackluster sound quality that was emerging from the digital format(s). I took it upon myself to research, discover, and unearth a vast array of dance & soul music on the very best format that music was originally produced on.

The 45RPM or 7″ format was pioneered my RCA Records in March of 1949. The deep grooves of the records provided the warmest and loudest analog reproduction of music known to man. If you truly analyze the frequency response between alas recording and digital recordings you will notice that the frequency range has changed. This small infraction actually changes the way in which humans absorb and react to sound waves. Do the research on your own and you will be surprised.

In short, I wanted the dancers, music lovers and patrons of my Kickin Up Dust to experience music the way in which the people who created it meant for human ears and bodies to receive this beautiful art form we know as music.
